POSITION:Head of Cost and Management Accounting

LOCATION:Republic Of Sudan

Job Description:

  • Ensure all costs are being captured and controlled
  • Ensure Cost Centre Managers receive appropriate guidance on how to prepare budgets that meet the targets defined by the Managing Director.
  • Be responsible for developing the budgeting calendar that ensures that all plans are approved by the Board before the Crop seasons begin.
  • Work with General Managers/Directors to build costing models that indicate how product profitability is impacted when costs vary.
  • Work with Sales and Marketing to assess the cost/unit required to achieve the required sales and profit margin.
  • Provide timely management information on Factory Operations and other BU's to the Operations Director
  • Work with Chief Accountant and FD to prepare month end management information pack for the FD and the Board.
  • The Head of C&M will report directly to the Chief Accountant.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience of working within a costing function in manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent PC skills including Excel.
  • The ability to work as part of a team on his own initiative.
